Elon Musk's new systemic relevance.

Elon Musk has fought for the status of a systemically relevant company for his electric car company Tesla.
Californian authorities announced that Tesla workers are exempt from a night curfew in the most populous US state.

"The restricted order to stay at home will not apply to workers who are classified as essential workers," the California public health authority said. Factory workers are such "essential workers".

The state issued new restrictions on Thursday, including a curfew from 22:00 to 5:00. During the first wave in March, CEO Musk defied Corona regulations, sued authorities and threatened to move out of California.

Elon Musk shows once again that he is one of the most influential men of our time. For example, he also attacks Telekom and Vodafone. The supply of fast internet continues to be a problem in Germany. The new year could bring hope for the economy and the population: Elon Musk's Starlink satellites want to heat up Telekom, Vodafone and Co.

The expansion of glass fibre is proceeding at a snail's pace. There are still "white spots" - without Internet access - and "grey spots" - with low bandwidths - covering the country. Even the dead spots for mobile phone reception in Germany still have to be plugged up en masse. In response to a small enquiry by FDP Member of the Bundestag Bernd Reuther, the Federal Ministry of Transport revealed in May that there were still some 14,000 dead spots in NRW in inhabited areas.

But now salvation from space is on the way. Elon Musk's company SpaceX has already launched 800 Starlink satellites into orbit to provide the entire globe with fast Internet access. A further 12,000 have been approved and will be gradually launched into orbit on the Falcon 9 rocket. A further 30,000 will be approved thereafter. Starlink will initially be launched in the USA and Canada. By 2021, the Internet service should be available almost worldwide.

After the automotive market, Elon Musk is now also stirring up the telecommunications sector. He is now also showing how powerful he is in this sector. This power and influence is also shown on the account of Elon Musk. On Monday Musk, according to the billionaire ranking "Bloomberg Billionaires Index", even overtook Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and is now considered the second richest person in the world.
